Senior Vehicle Simulation Engineer
Working within the Vehicle Dynamics department the successful candidate will have a good understanding of vehicle dynamics theory, plus a thorough working knowledge of software tools and simulation techniques, including developing MBS, quasi-static lap simulation & HIL. The candidate will also need to demonstrate, good management skills, plus an understanding of the strategic requirements to develop a world class simulation capability supporting Vehicle Dynamics & Race Engineering.
Composites Production Manager
Successful candidates will demonstrate sound composites manufacturing background with extensive knowledge of materials and modern manufacturing techniques with highly demonstrable experience in either the motor sport or aerospace Industry. The ability to plan and schedule work to tight deadlines, utilise and manage internal resources, with a hands on can do approach. Previous management or supervisory experience essential preferred previous F1 exposure.
Mechanical and Composite Inspectors
Previous Motor Sports experience and relevant qualifications required for running CNC CMM’s (PCdims), QA systems, and hand held measuring equipment. The successful candidates will be extremely conscientious, working to the highest standards, and have the ability to work on their own initiative and as a part of a dedicated team. We require enthusiastic individual’s with a flexible approach to working hours, and who are highly organised and capable of working in dynamic environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount.
Aerodynamics Group Leader
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Aerodynamicist to take a leading role in the development of the Lotus Racing F1 car. You will manage a team of aerodynamicists and will work closely with the other Group Leaders, CFD Engineers and Model Designers. You will take overall responsibility for the development of an area of the car, including planning, executing and reporting on the wind tunnel sessions. You will have significant F1 wind tunnel testing experience, and will be able to demonstrate good management abilities. CAD experience (Catia V5 preferred) would be an advantage. You will have gained a degree in Aerodynamics (or similar) and have a flexible approach to working hours. This position will involve some travel abroad.
Essential Requirements for all disciples-
• Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience of 3D cad (preferably Catia V5)
• Ability to deliver under pressure and compressed time lines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience of the discipline within a motorsport environment.
