| A senior position has become available within the aerodynamics department at Renault F1 Team, and presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer.
The Senior CFD Aerodynamicist will lead a group of CFD aerodynamicists responsible for driving the aerodynamic development of the car forward, pursuing current directions and investigating new concepts. The successful candidate will also lead the group in delivering CFD specified wind-tunnel programmes and therefore a good appreciation of wind-tunnel testing is required.
The position allows a significant amount of freedom for developing ideas and concepts and hence the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a high level of creativity and motivation. Several years F1 external aerodynamic development experience using CFD and a good understanding of the flow structure and interactions with the current regulations are prerequisites. Excellent personal organisation skills and the ability to supervise and motivate others are also essential.
